And we’re off…

Ok here we go! All the planning and waiting is over. I just hope it lives up to the hype. 

We took off from Heathrow Terminal 5 just after 1 on Friday. Terminal 5 is state of the art but driving around Heathrow it brought back memories of when I used to work washing up in the BA staff canteen 20 years ago. 

The Starbucks staff didn’t understand Eloise’s name and wrote ‘Aluiz’ on her cup. So we’re going to call her Al from now on. 

Flight was delayed 45 mins due to storms by when we got the Toronto it was lovely and sunny and surprisingly hot!
