Next stop Niagara

We got a transfer from Toronto to our hotel in Niagara. We’re staying at the Great Wolf Lodge. 

It’s Canada’s answer to a Disney hotel. Wolf characters greet the kids, there are interactive adventures activated by magical wands (Lou wouldn’t let me buy one), and there’s the best waterpark I’ve ever seen. 

We decided to head straight out to the falls. 

I’d seen Michael Portillo take the boat trip under the falls on his TV show so we joined the queue for that. Big queue but it wasn’t long before we were on the boat. 

In our very fetching pink water proofs. 

The falls were ever spectacular as went went from a boiling hot day to what seemed like a storm on a cold day (very refreshing). The best bit was the rainbow as we turned back to shore. 

We went back for a couple of hours in the waterpark. 

Then headed back to a fireworks show over the illuminated falls. 

In short we’ve fallen for Niagara.
