Miami in the rain

Looks like our luck with the weather has finally run out. 

We had our final day in Orlando and went back to Epcot and the Magic Kingdom. 

Then we picked up our Ford Mustang convertible. Ellie got her excellent GCSE results so we took her to the mall to get her something for all her hard work. 

We then drove along palm beach and down the coast to south beach Miami where our hotel was (Miami is huge!). 

Great views from the room. 

We went out to Havana 1957 a Cuban restaurant and had one of the best meals of the holiday. 

While waiting for a table there was a short shower and this was a signs of things to come. 

The next morning the pool the girls had so been looking forwards to was shut due to the expected storm. We had a quick look at the beach. Then the rain began. 

We are due to drive to Key West today over the 7 mile bridge. The forecast looks mixed, at best. Maybe the convertible wasn’t such a wise choice!
